For the first time in 5 weeks Caroline went to Church. She arrived during the first hymn and left during the last hymn, this was so that she would not be exhausted by people asking questions and expressing their best wishes to her. She is so aware of the love and care that out church family have and she knows that they would understand her reasons for doing this. Caroline felt very much at home in church, she had not realized just how much she missed being in church surrounded by her church family. One of the things she discovered is that she does not have enough breath to sing!! Hopefully this will rectified in the future.
After church Caroline had a small nap, before we all went to a good curry house for lunch. After Lunch she had a 90 minute nap and we went for a short walk in the park.
Caroline continues to reduce her amount of morphine and has had to change the medication that helps her with constipation. She is still constipated and this is for me a concern.
Yesterday I attended the funeral of Jerry, his two older children, David & Eugenia were in the church youth group. It was a very sad occasion and I would be grateful if you could think and pray for them at this time.
