We have met with the solicitor and have appointed him (or whatever the word is!!).
He thinks we have a very strong case to proceed against both hospital trusts. The first phase is to get legal aid and he is managing the application. The legal aid we are applying for is for investigative purposes. This will include getting all records; obtaining independent expert witnesses to give an opinion on the extent of the negligence and the possible long term consequences.
We would very much appreciate your prayers in ensuring that our application for legal aid proceeds in a swift manner, that way we can get things going.
