The Khans of Tulse Hill
The endoscopy is now over and although I am still feeling slightly woozy from the anasthetic (please make allowances of spelling and grammer) it went very well. They discovered that where the two tubes had been joined together there was severe constriction allowing very little food or drink to get through. In the words of my surgeon, he put the balloon down the tube to try and stretch the area and it 'popped' open, so hopefully we should start to see a big difference in my ability to eat and put on weight. I am having a follow up appointment in 4 weeks time to see what's happening.
Thank you all for your prayers and emails, I must admit it was a relief to find out that there was something wrong and that it can be sorted. So apart from a sore throat that will go, things are definately looking up from now on!!
Praise the Lord.
